Ancho Dried Chilli (Capsicum annuum var. annuum) Our Ancho Dried Chilli is characterised by being a dry product with a triangular shape, rough and shiny texture, wine-shell colour and a length of between 12 and 15 centimetres. In addition, it has a slightly sweet flavour and is not very spicy. This product should be harvested before it matures and dried immediately. Once dry, its size is reduced and it becomes dark in colour. The Ancho Dried Chilli is mainly used in different dishes of Mexican cuisine and is frequently combined with other dried chillies.
